Dear Tom,
In a gesture to observe the World Book Day, which falls on the April 23rd, our school hereby launched various activities.
Specifically, a book exchange activity where individual exchanged their favourite book one-on-one came first. Then, a lecture ensued. Experts and scholars from inside and outside the academia were invited to deliver a speech on the relationship between reading and being a man, which were really thought-provoking and inspiring.
Exposed to such a rewarding activity, my passion for reading was immensely kindled, and I was determined to do my utmost to cultivate lifelong reading habits.
