篇一:小学六年级英语作文:A letter to my mother
Dear mother:
Thank you for giving me endless love, so that I will always be grateful.
As the saying goes, "a mothers child is like a treasure. A mother without children is like a root grass." Although we sometimes quarrel and make trouble, I feel really proud and honored when I have your company on the road of growth. In the news, there are many children who have no family, no family members, and no maternal care. However, I saw your tired and melancholy appearance after a days shift. It was even more painful for me to see in my eyes.
You have less interaction with me because of working in the suburbs. But you never forget to tell me what I should do and how I should do it. You will always tell me what I should do, though sometimes it will be annoying. But what you teach me will always be good for me. Because, this is the mothers love. And, your love, always is only to pay; do not ask for return, although, my academic achievements do not meet your requirements, but I will try to refueling again! Mom, please give me time again, I will make progress again.
May is coming again, and the fragrant carnations are in bud, and I am still so ignorant. In the warm carnations, I offer a sincere heart to tell you a word, "Mom, I love you!"
Wish you
Health and beauty
篇二:小学六年级英语作文:A letter to my mother
Dear Mamma,
How about you and my father?I arrived in Guangzhou last Friday safely, butthe journey was notpleasant. The train was crowded and dirty, and I was terribly tired when I got here. After a short rest, I feel quit good now.
Uncle’s family are all very well. They were very happy to see me and theyare all kind to me. Cousin Wei Ping is really warm-hearted, and he has been showing me around the city these days.
We have many things in common so that we can talk to each other all the day.Tonight Wei Ping and I are going to a concert. We both like the star very much.I’m sure we’ll have a good time.
Guangzhou is a beautiful city, and a bustling one as well. Life here is busy, but exciting and colourful. I love the way people work and live here and I hope to have a chance to work and live in this city when I grow up.
Uncle and Aunt send you my love.
Truely yours
David

Dear Mom,
Im writing this letter, filled with guilt andanxiety. But I still have to tell you: Ive run awayfrom home with my boyfriend-Tony. In fact, weclicked straightaway at first sight. Ilove the tattooon his body which has a variety of pattems. Ofcourse, he has a few girlfriends and we fell outa cmlple oftimes about tbis. Things are gettingbetter these days, because I was pregnant andhe swore that he would be loyal to me only sincethen.
By the way, Tony is slightly older than me(48-year-old man , not too old in the present so-ciety, righf?). However, we have no money atpresent, so we intend to move to a desert islandand build a cosy cabin in wbich we can leadour own jolly life for the rest of our lives. Afterwe have gotten used to our new life, we plan togrow marijuana to earn money for bis AIDS treat-ment. I pray he can get well soon, Amen!
I hope youjust havent fainted till now,Mom. Then you can turn the letter over.
Wbat you have just read is not tnie. Pleaseforgive me for using such an absurd way to let youImow there are many things in the world which arefar worse than I get grade L111 less than A or at-tending a sleep over. Im still in the bloom of yo-uth and Im full of energy .I bave passion for dan-cing, sports, etc. Ive yeamed for choosing myown extracurricular activities for long. However,I can hardly breathe under your tough restriction. And it doesnt make sense to even forbid mebeing in a school play. An excellent girl do-esnt just mean good grades. In addition tothis , success is not always about control, itsalso about letting go. Leave me more freespace and Ill do better, I promise.

篇四:小学六年级英语作文:A letter to my mother
Dear mother: Hello
Dear mother, you have given me life, and my body has run through your blood.
It is your milk, heart, blood, tears and sweat that have become the greatest liquid of human life and have nurtured me. It is you who feed me from a hungry child to a primary school student. Dear mother, there are many kinds of love in the world, but maternal love isthe most selfless, sincere, broadest and most merciful. When praising the affection of human beings, you are the eternal theme. When you sing the sincere love of the world, your love is called the first love in the world. Selfless is your character, dedication is your feelings. You are the embodiment of goodness. You are a symbol of greatness. Everything beautiful in women is condensed in your image.
My dear mother, though the hardships of life have made your hands rough, however, these hands are still so gentle, it always soothes my heart and gives me infinite comfort; although the heavy work makes your head white hair, but the body is still like the wing, caring for me all the time. The hard work of hard work makes your face wrinkle. However, the face is still so kind. It teaches me the true meaning of life and gives me confidence and strength at all times. My dear mother, you are the resting place for your daughter. You are the harbor for your daughter to escape from the wind. With you, our home will be peaceful and warm. With you, our family will be happy and happy. Dear mother, your great love is the greatest and selfless, your love in the heart of the daughter turned from the bottom of the heart from the bottom of the heart out - only the mother is good, the mother of the child like a treasure, into the mothers embrace can not enjoy happiness.
篇五:小学六年级英语作文:A letter to my mother
Dear Mom,
Can you imagine that I’m now in the United States, a country so different from China? Everything is new and interesting! I made some friends on the trip over and they have been very kind and helpful. Still, you know how much I miss you and your cooking? My mouth waters at the mere thought of those delectable Chinese dishes you prepare. Last night, my friends invited me to dinner. They had some strange ways of describing their hunger. For instance, there was“I’m starving to death”,“I’m famished”, and“I’m so hungry, I could eat a horse”, which has a similar expression in Chinese; I’m sure you know the one. How about“I’m making a pig of myself”! A little confusing, hmm? Anyway, this stuff may be useful to you as an English teacher, so I’m also sending a tape. You can listen to our conversation and hear some real modern American English.
Your loving daughter,
篇六:小学六年级英语作文:A letter to my mother
Dear Mum and Dad,
Im writing to you in Beijing.
Im very happy to visit Beijing again. To my surprise, great changes have taken place here recently. Today I went to Wangfujing Street. Now the streets are cleaner and nicer than before. There are many flowers everywhere and there is a fine smell of the flowers in the air. There are more new buildings, modern shops and large markets in it. People in Beijing are happy. Everyone has a smile on the face. I know they are working hard for the 2008 Olympics. I hope they will have a good luck. Yours, Jack

Dear Mum,
I have been to the Changzhou Badmintons Training Center for a week. The weather is very hot here. We train for 4 hours a day. The coach is very strict with us.
The room that we live in is comfortable and the meals are good. The coach asks us to do everything by ourselves. I have some friends here now. We play chess, and cards, and watch television every evening. We are very happy.
I will return in two weeks and I miss you very much. East or west, home is best. I will train harder and I will tell you more when I come home.
Your sincerely,
Alex

篇九:小学六年级英语作文:A letter to my mother
Dear Mom,
How are you? I just want to take this chance to write to you and tell you how much I love you.
You are always so busy taking care of our family. You get up early every morning to make breakfast for us, and then you send me to school before going to work. When I come back home in the afternoon, you are already there preparing a delicious dinner.
You are not only a great cook but also a wonderful teacher. Whenever I have problems with my studies or life, you always listen to me patiently and give me good advice. You encourage me to be brave and keep trying when I face difficulties.
Mom, thank you for everything you have done for me. I will study hard to make you proud. I hope you can take care of yourself well too.
Love you always!
Your son/daughter
篇十:小学六年级英语作文:A letter to my mother
Dear Mom,
I recently read the book, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mom by Amy Chua. I found that you and Ms. Chua have a lot in common in parenting. Today, I d like to share some of my views on this topic.
Childhood memories of your strict dos and don ts came flooding back. Because count- less hours were invested on practicing musicalinsUu- ments, there was not even a slim chance for me to participate in parties and school plays, let alone fully enjoy the authentic pleasures of family life. Moreover, deprived of the freedom to choose hob- bies, I sometimes felt that I was just like a lonely pup- pet manipulated by others. Dear mother, do you be- lieve that time and time again I woke up from beau- tiful dreams with tears streaming down my face?
However, though I ve labeled it as a brutal regimen when I was young, as I became heavily involved inme outside world, I ve come to realize that it was quite rewarding to have been tiger trained. As George Eliot putslt, It never rains roses: when we want to have more roses, we must plant trees . This is as true of 0ur growing up, especially in an unprecedentedly stressful so- cietyr, Fortunately, tiger parenting has equipped me with exceptional study habits, thus helping me stand out in the intense competition. Furthermore, it has endowed me with strong willpower as well as inner self-poise, which bas proved to be a most pre- cious quality of mine. Finally, thanks to your firm discipline, not cmly have I cultivateda discerning taste in art, but I ve also built my own set of moral values. In view of all these facts, tiger parenting has benefited me in the lorlg run despite the cost of the immediate joy of a normal carefree cbildhood.
